Dr. William T. Reynolds, O.D.

Diplomate American Board of Optometry

Dr. William T. Reynolds has been with the Eye Care Center since 1985. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Louisville and his doctoral studies at southern College of Optometry in Memphis TN. Besides his Optometic Doctorate he has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with a minor in Physics. Dr. Reynolds obtained his Board Certification through the American Board of Optometry.

Dr. Reynolds has been involved in many civic and professional organizations including; Board of Directors of the Richmond Chamber of Commerce, Richmond Lions Club, Kentucky Special Olympics, and has led mission trips to Kingston Jamaca for Feed The Poor.
Dr. Reynolds has been active in the Kentucky Optometric Association (KOA) for more than 30 years. Throughout his career he served in many positions and was president of the KOA in 2001-2002 and Legislative Chair from 2005-2011. Dr. Reynolds has also served on the Kentucky Board of Optometric Examiners since 2010.
Dr. Reynolds was elected to the American Optometric Association Board of Trustees in June 2012 and took office as president during the 2020 Annual AOA Election & Installation on June 27, 2020.

Dr. Reynolds has given multiple professional presentations, appeared on national and local television and has been featured in over 150 newspapers across the country. He has received numerous awards including; three Presidential Awards from the Kentucky Optometric Association, the prestigious International Presidents Letter of Appreciation from Lions International. He was awarded the inaugural KOA Visionary Award winner in 2014 and was the KOA Optometrist of the year in 2000 and 2011. In 2023 Dr. Reynolds was named Optometrist of the South.

Dr. Reynolds is on staff as Adjunct Faculty at Southern College of Optometry, University of Alabama at Birmingham, Indiana University and Kentucky College of Optometry at the University of Pikeville. He and his wife Ann reside in Richmond and have two sons Will and Patrick.

Dr. Anthony C. Harris, O.D.

Dr. Anthony C. Harris joined the Eye Care Center in 1998 and has been in practice for 28 years. He has experience in all areas of eye care including treatment of ocular diseases, contact lenses, children’s vision and post-operative care of cataract surgery and LASIK surgery. In 2012, Dr. Harris received his certification in Expanded Therapeutic procedures allowing him to perform minor laser surgical procedures for the Anterior Segment. He also has obtained board certification from the American Board of Optometry. He believes that excellence in eye care begins solely with the one on one patient-doctor relationship provided by all doctors at the Eye Care Center.

Dr. Harris is a member of the Kentucky Optometric Association (KOA) and the American Optometric Association (AOA).

Dr. Harris received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry in 1984. He graduated from the University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Optometry with high honors in 1988.

​​​​​​​Dr. Harris is a Kentucky native and currently resides in Richmond with his wife Norma and children, Sarah and Kevin.

Dr. Matthew Burchett, O.D.

Dr. D. Matthew Burchett has been in practice in Richmond, KY since 2002. He is a native of Paintsville, Kentucky and a graduate of Paintsville High School. After high school, he attended Morehead State University and received his bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Upon graduating from Morehead State University, he began his doctoral training at Southern College of Optometry (SCO) in Memphis, Tennessee. During his time at SCO, he completed specialty rotations dealing in general eye examination, children’s vision, contact lenses, pathology, disease and eye surgery. Since graduation, Dr. Burchett has obtained board certification from the American Board of Optometry and currently is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. Dr. Burchett currently serves patients at all six Eye Care Center locations.

Dr. Burchett is a member of the Kentucky Optometric Association, where he has served in many roles since becoming a member. He has served as chair of multiple committees, PAC chair, Co-Legislative Chair and President in 2013-2014. Currently he is serving as the Chair of the Medicaid Technical Advisory Committee and Third-Party Chair. Dr. Burchett is also a member of the American Optometric Association where he has served on the State Government Relations Committee. Dr. Burchett’s served on the Kentucky Board of Ophthalmic Dispensers, he’s volunteered for the Special Olympics Opening Eyes program providing eye care to Special Olympians and has served the people of Kingston, Jamaica at the St. Pious X Vision Clinic.
Currently, Dr. Burchett serves on the Executive Committee for SECO International as its Secretary. He has previously served SECO International as a Trustee representing Kentucky since 2015.

Dr. Burchett resides in Richmond, KY with his wife Hope and their two children Kellen and Alivia. He attends Tates Creek Baptist Church, where he serves as a Deacon. He is also a member of the Richmond Lion’s Club and the Chamber of Commerce. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and fishing.

Dr. Lauren Lodholz, O.D.

Diplomate American Board of Optometry

Dr. Lauren Lodholz joined the Eye Care Center in 2010. Originally from Verona, KY, she attended the University of Kentucky where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2005. She received her doctoral training from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Graduating in 2009, she also received the Odyssey Medical Excellence in Ocular Disease Award.

Dr. Lodholz is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) as well as the Kentucky Optometric Association (KOA). She was awarded the 2013 Kentucky Young Optometrist of the Year. She is pleased to have the opportunity to serve the vision needs of Central Kentucky.

Since graduation, Dr. Lodholz has obtained board certification from the American Board of Optometry. She was featured in the New York Times in July of 2019 in an article discussing consumerism and safety in contact lenses.

​​​​​​​Dr. Lodholz currently resides in Richmond, KY with her husband, Jeremiah, and son, Braxton.

Dr. Corri Collins​​​​​​​ Dixon, O.D.

Dr. Corri Collins Dixon joined the Eye Care Center in 2020. She received her undergraduate degree from Georgetown College in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She graduated with honors as a Doctor of Optometry from the Kentucky College of Optometry in 2020.

Dr. Collins is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the Kentucky Optometric Association (KOA). She is also a board member for the Madison County Health Department.

During her time as an optometric extern, she spent time caring for patients at the Franklin R. Sousley VA hospital in Lexington, KY. Originally from Stanton, Ky, Dr. Collins is passionate about providing access to quality care for the residents of Kentucky.

Dr. Collins currently resides in Richmond, KY with her Husband Justin.

Dr. Matt Butler, O.D.

Dr. Matt Butler joined Eye Care Center in 2021, and is originally from Richmond Kentucky. He received his Bachelors in Biomedical Science and a Minor in Chemistry from Eastern Kentucky University. He then went on to Indiana University, where he graduated with his Doctorate in Optometry, as well as an Eye Care business management degree from the prestigious Kelley School of Business.

Dr. Butler is also a alumnus of the PEPP medical program at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Butler is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) as well as the Kentucky Optometric Association (KOA). During training, Dr. Butler interned at several Kentucky locations, including Lexington VAMC, and Bennett and Bloom Eye Centers in Louisville Kentucky. Dr. Butler currently resides in Richmond Kentucky with his wife Kelly and border collie, Lola.

Dr Cassie Napier, O.D.

Dr. Cassie Napier joined the Eye Care Center in July 2023. Originally from Hazard, KY, She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science from Morehead State University in 2016. Following that, she went on to earn a Master’s degree in Medical Science from the University of Kentucky in 2018. In 2023, she graduated from the Kentucky College of Optometry, earning her doctorate of Optometry. Dr. Napier is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Kentucky Optometric Association. As a student extern, she served patients in Danville, KY at Danville Eye Center, as well as in London, KY at Huffman & Huffman, PSC. Following suit with the rest of the staff at ECC, she believes that quality eye care starts at the patient-doctor relationship, and continues with only the highest standards of care in optometry. Dr. Napier currently resides in Richmond, KY with her fiancé Jared Deaton, and their two dogs, Layla and Dany.

Dr. Emily Workman, O.D.

Dr. Workman attended Morehead State University to receive a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2020. She graduated with honors as a Doctor of Optometry from the Kentucky College of Optometry in 2024.

Dr. Workman is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the Kentucky Optometric Association (KOA). She is also a member of the Pikeville Lions Club, where she was president during her time as a student.

As an student extern, she served patients at the Franklin R. Sousley VA hospital in Lexington, KY and various eastern KY counties. With family residing in these areas, she is passionate about serving the underserved.

Dr. Workman currently resides in Lexington, KY with her goldendoodle Penny.
